Updated
When I started this blog it was about “The little things that make a GREAT LIFE!” (read more from my original post below) and would be highlighting anything I found positive and good in a day, but this has changed slightly – to being more creative.
At the beginning of this year I decided I want to be more creative, practice & be active about it.
1. I entered an art exhibition & my painting sold, yay!
2. I tried a different painting style. From realistic to pop arty and love it.
3. I entered a t-shirt design competition for a big client in SA. I had to vectorise my sketch digitally and this was new for me because I have not dabbled in graphic art before.
This year & onwards is all about being creative & doing what you are good at. I believe you will succeed at what you are good at, if you focus on it & practice. Take a look at Richard Branson, Donald Trump, Tim Burton & Oprah to name a few, they started out by doing what they love & are good at and have continued to grow still.
It’s no time for worrying about what others think. I am so happy to be able to paint & create what my heart desires – it’s fun & rewarding, especially when others enjoy it too!
I read a great quote, which I keep…
“Nobody should congratulate you on your success more sincerely,
generously & regularly than yourself.”
I may still pop in other “happy” posts, after all that is part of inspiration.

I am new to blogging. I was trying to think of what I could write about, that I’d enjoy writing & others may enjoy reading… So I came up with the topic of “The little things that make a GREAT LIFE!”. This blog is about positivity & enjoying the little (& big) things in life. Really focusing on what’s good. What makes up a fantastic day in your life?
